It would be exceedingly if brutally efficient to simply harvest her here and now, and spare them both the expense of the rich pool of ADAM at their hypothetical disposal.

Fortunately for her, Rush is not completely bereft of moral direction, and is not the sort to murder defenseless children. Simply abandoning her to her fate would be equally inadvisable - in all likelihood, she would simply be left at the mercy of those that would have no ethical constraints with murdering her and siphoning her ADAM away.
